My Plumber offers rooter service for all kinds of stoppages, including main lines, kitchen lines, floor drains, laundry lines, and lavatory lines. We offer free video inspection of sewer lines 2 inches or larger after rooter service to ensure that no obstructions remain. If the sewer is determined to be free and clear of problems, My Plumber will provide a one year warranty or one free return visit.
If the video inspection determines that there are further problems with the sewer, My Plumber’s technicians will show you the problem and go over repair options. Some common problems with sewers are roots, breaks, and bellies.
Possible repair methods include hydro-jetting to clean the sewer, digging up and replacing the sewer, or relining.
- Jetting the sewer – This is done to remove debris, grease, or any other buildup that is restricting the flow of the sewer. Jetting scours the inside of the sewer with water that is under high pressure, up to 4,000 PSI.
- Sewer replacements and repairs – My Plumber sewer repairs and replacements are done with ABS plastic pipe. Full sewer replacements come with a 20-year guarantee on the pipe and installation; repairs carry a five-year warranty. After the pipe is installed, the ditch is tamped every two feet during backfilling to minimize settlement.
- Relining – The old sewer is relined with a resin-soaked liner that hardens and adheres to the inside of the sewer. The new liner is one solid piece with no joints, thus there is no chance of root infiltration, shifting or breaking. No digging is involved, so your landscape will not be disturbed. Relining your sewer will preserve it and keep it like new for years to come. Relined sewers carry a 5-year warranty against failure.
